What was the highlight of Som Llaut Boutique Hotel

Modern and friendly hotel

The room was very large, clean and modern. Staff were always helpful and patiently answered any question with a smile. The fact that there is no one at the reception after 4pm may seem strange but there is a number you can call and they will help you. Breakfast is in the same building and had everything one needs.

The location is just at the End of the beach. That may put people off, but we enjoyed the little walk. I think it would be nice if the pool was open after 8pm but that is just a minor suggestion.

Nice, but expected more.

Well, the hotel is really nicely located. The view from the balcony was awesome.

The cleaning personel cleaned only certain parts of the room - it’s not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. One day the AC was not working at all - terrible experience. No info on it from the hotel.

Really enjoyed. Great location. Lovely food in the restaurant.

The location was really good. The room was clean. Rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels. Staff were friendly.

We were three family adults. With the bed settee made up, there was little room and the patio door was awkward due to lack of space so had to squeeze through the gap. The shower had a window which looked into the bedroom / living area. Not ideal when your with a family as no privacy! Could do with fitting a curtain there so you could then have a choice whether to keep it open or closed. (Very strange idea)!!!

New, clean hotel with a great rooftop pool

Sonya who works in the restaurant is incredibly attentive and so lovely. She was super helpful with ideas on where to go and what to do whilst we were there and recommended some excellent beaches. Rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel is really close to the beach. Rooftop pool is great especially when they open the bar and serve cocktails.

Hotel walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything and everyone around the hotel. Bathrooms don't have a door and there is a glass wall where the bathroom/shower looks into the bedroom. I didn't actually mind this too much but there is no privacy in the rooms if you're someone who likes to dance in the shower.

- the hot tub on the terrace is splendid :)

- the hot tub on the terrace is splendid :) - good neighbourhood, quiet but the restaurants are close (few minutes walking)

- the rooftop bar was under construction at the time - troubles with wifi (not a problem as there is 4G coverage everywhere) - isolation could be improved between the hot tubs

This was our third time coming back to this hotel, and what...

This was our third time coming back to this hotel, and what a disappointment has turned out to be! The overal quality dropped significantly (from the previous years), and we diceded to leave the hotel 2 days in. The hotel is nowhere near worth 4 stars and much less worth the money spent! CLEANLINESS: Upon arriving: Outdoor bathtub wasn't clean Floor wasn't clean There was dust in the bathroom (completely dusty shelves) Stains on the bed sheets Spiders on the ceiling of the room, bathroom What is more, there was MOLD in the bathroom, also moldy sunbeds on the terrace, completely rusted metal parts in the shower. On the second day, after 'cleaning', the cleaning lady left behind completely dirty towel, which wasnt dirty before, very badly done bad, dirty glasses,.. BREAKFAST: The breakfast is a complete disrespect towards the guests - it is absolutely awful; only one bread option which is dry toast, same and only one cheese option every day, same 2 hams (THE MOST BASIC YOU CAN GET), no veggies, no fresh juices, no honey, no jam, very bad coffee, 1 fruit option, all self service,.. You get a better breakfast in 2 star hotels!! DINNER: Dont bother paying extra for the dinner, its only 1 menu option that they serve you, no options to choose from, so basically take it or leave it. What is more, the service was extremelly bad and the food quality less than avarage. We cancelled the half board after our first dinner, and went for a dinner to the restaurant right under the hotel, which we were really pleased with (plus the staff is extremely friendly). RECEPTION: No 24h reception - 4 star hotel?!! Reception closes at 4pm. Poor reception service upon arriving (staff and cleaning lady arguing if the room we were supposed to get was empty or occupied, we werent told the breakfast or dinner policy,..). Upon leaving the receptionist didnt know how to handle the procedure nor the complaints professionally. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

The location was good

The reception is only open for a few hours. So if you arrive after the reception is closed you have to call someone to explain you how to get in the hotel and the room. What is more, when you book a room and one of the features says “with a view” keep in mind that might not be a view of the ocean or even a balcony just a window with a view of the street. Last but not least the cleaning service wasn’t good either and we didn’t have our soaps or shampoo restocked.

What was the highlight of Som Llaut Boutique Hotel

Perfect for a relaxing short break from start to finish

Room was very clean, modern in style with a comfotable bed and spacious bathroom. The balcony ran the full length of the room and had a wonderful view over the marina and it's cafe restaurants. Managed to park the car in the street right outside the main door. Rooftop pool and terrace were quite luxurious but bar was not in use during our visit (mid April). Breakfast across the road in the hotel's restaurant cafe was first class, cooked to order and served with a smile.

The rooftop bar could have been open but it was no problem bringing refreshments up from our fridge in the room so no great obstacle to our enjoyment of loafing in the sun

Just good.

The food was very good at Melassa restaurant and the location was also very good.

The room was a bit small and generally it wasn't very clean. Also, as everyone said before, the jacuzzi area wasn't private at all. Definitely, not a value for money hotel.

this is not a four-star facility, the renewed building looks nice but the standard is far from expectation, no decent lobby, no common area, safe available for an extra fee, no robes, daily shower gel and moisturiser available on demand only
